So little to do, so much time!!

Wait............scratch that. Reverse it. (What movie? Anyone?)

So the past few weeks have been crazy. My daughter has been sick on and off and now has an ear infection. The work around the house that I need/want to get done, never did, although I did repaint the red shutters and front door black. (I see a red door and I want it painted black!).

But the biggest news around my house is that I got a new job!! This is my last week at the insane asylum that I call work. As a going away present to myself, I ordered a 46" Hi-Def LCD TV!! It should come this week, so I will be able to watch football and the Yankees playoff games on my new wide screen TV!! (Did I ever mention that my wife is awesome!!) My commute to my new job will be 11 miles instead of 25, plus it's more money, so how could I say no!?!? The only downside is that I now have to pay for my cell phone (like everyone else in the world) which is fine with me since the phone and service I had before sucked!

Also, my daughter's birthday is Saturday, and her party is Sunday, so we have to get the house and the yard ready for 30 people (Down from the 80 on the original list. What were we crazy for thinking we were going to invite that many people?). Time to bake some ziti!! (or something).

That's pretty much all I got for now. Is it just me, or is everyone having a hard time coming up with things to blog about lately? Oh, BTW.............the Dad said, Mom said blog seems to be doing pretty well. It's not all about being a parent, but more about the issues that the mom's and dad's deal with when it comes to each other. So far, it's been kinda funny. You should chek it out.
