OK.............so I know that part of owning a home is doing the yard work, but I hate leaves. Here it is, Spring and the ground is thawed. All the leaves that I couldn't get to before the first snow are now exposed and all over my yard. I had off yesterday, so while I had a few hours, I decided to blow some more leaves. So I go into my garage and get the blower and the 100' extention cord. I procede to blow all of the leaves caught in the bushes and on the rocks into two piles on either side of my house. I feel good about how it looks until I go inside and look at it from the kitchen window and realize that it doesn't look any different!!!!! How can I have two piles that are about 10' x 10' and be 30" deep and it still look the same?!?!? This sucks.
My town does not pick up leaves at the curb, so we have to bag them. I'm sorry, but raking and blowing 4/10 of an acre's worth of leaves and the bagging them all is not my idea of fun. Why can't I just put them all on my side patio and burn them? Yeah, yeah...........I know, it could start a forest fire (especially where I live), BUT WHY CAN'T I JUST BURN THEM??

I decided that when the lease is up on my Jetta, that I'm going to have to go back to having a pickup truck. This way I can just blow them all into the bed and drive them to the town's recycle drop off. There goes the money I was saving on gas!!
Ah.............the joys of home ownership.

Do what everyone else does...push them onto your neighbor's yard...
I did that already. You should see how many leaves I put behind my property into my neighbors yard!
